Tooth Extractions
Some teeth are extracted because they are severely decayed or have broken in a way that cannot be restored; others may have advanced periodontal disease.
General tooth extraction is categorized as a simple tooth extraction and is performed when the tooth is visible in the mouth. Typically, only a local anesthetic is needed to numb the area around the tooth and forceps are used to extract the damaged tooth.
